The Versatility of Glosswood Lining Boards

A recently completed project by Aura Homes beautifully demonstrates just how versatile Glosswood lining boards can be. In this home, the Designer Lining Double Profile becomes a central design feature, flowing effortlessly from space to space. The linear profile adds depth and rhythm, while the natural timber grain is highlighted by the warm, satin Clear Ash finish.

Here are some standout design moments from the project:

Concealed Door

There’s something undeniably exciting about a hidden door. Aura Homes incorporated one seamlessly into a feature wall, disguising a storage room and maintaining a clean, uninterrupted timber surface.

Curved Timber Walling

The Designer Lining was also used to wrap an internal curved wall, adding movement and fluidity to the space. The subtle allowance in the tongue-and-groove profile makes it possible to achieve a smooth curve without compromising the integrity of the boards.

Finishing Details

For a refined, architectural finish, SquareTrim was used along the edges of the lining boards and at the external corners of the kitchen cladding — a detail that frames the timber beautifully and completes the look.

From striking feature walls to intricate detailing, this project is a testament to how Glosswood lining boards can adapt to suit bold statements and subtle touches alike.
