Five bars, Five Glosswood Looks

Five bars, Five Glosswood Looks

Glosswood can be used in many different applications; under counters, on feature walls as well as ceilings. See below some of our favourite bar projects from the past few years…

The Rooftop Bar…

The Sweetwater Bar used Glosswood’s Designer Lining throughout the entire rooftop venue. The feature walls are covered in Glosswood’s Teak boards which span across bulkheads and under the front counter.

The Live Music Venue…

The William Street Bird is a music venue, bar and eatery in Perth’s bustling Northbridge precinct. Interior Designer Gabrielle Scott specified the Charcoal boards under the bar top, in an off-set pattern to create a visual feature.

The Convention Centre…

The Buchan Group designed the cafe and bar within The Perth Convention Centre. The design team incorporated Glosswood’s Designer Lining tongue-and-groove boards in matte colour Possum throughout the ceiling. The boards have lighting and speaker systems integrated through in matte black to add to the industrial feel of the space.

The Luxury Inner-City Hotel…

The Intercontinental Hotel remains one of our favourite projects. Glosswood’s Distressed White boards were used throughout the main bar, in addition to the lobby. The renovation of the 5 star hotel included sourcing Australian manufactured products such as Glosswood.

The Industrial Bar…

Finespun Architecture were looking for a timber board that would add depth and texture to the bar and restaurant fit-out. The interior was to reflect traditional Western Australian design elements, so the Jarrah board was selected. The Glosswood adds a beautiful timber grain to the industrial interior.
